Job Description
Shipping Associate -South Bend IN
1st Shift 8am to 4:30pm
M-F some overtime may be required on weekends
$15/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily LTL Shipments packages drop shipments
- Stock and Pull Inventory
- Working knowledge of computers for daily BOL update to Excel Documents
- Confirm boxed orders match customer product and shipping method
- Process completed orders based on priority
- Secure multiple packages with zip machine to ensure proper bulk shipping dimensions
- Box orders requiring special packaging
Requirements:
- Effective prioritization and multitasking
- Attention to Detail
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work at fast pace
- Ability to read write and perform basic math and tape measurements
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs regularly
- Ability to stand walk bend and stoop.
- Ability to use hands to finger handle and feel.
- Specific vision abilities required for various jobs include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
- Ability to understand and communicate (talk-read-hear) work instructions.
- Must meet background & drug screening requirements prior to hire
