Pay Range: $38-$57/hr
Schedule: Direct Hire
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports and promotes an environment conducive with the Mission Vision and Values of the hospital.
- Delivers nursing care according to the standards of care defined within the Illinois Nurse Practice Act
- Promotes a therapeutic relationship with patients and families.
- Collects and documents pertinent health data using appropriate assessment techniques using a systematic and ongoing process utilizing interventions appropriated for pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients.
- Analyzes and documents diagnoses/patient problems in a manner that facilitates the determination of expected outcomes and plan of care in collaboration with patient significant others and other health care personal.
- Identifies realistic and attainable outcomes individualized to the patients present and potential capabilities.
- Develops an individualized plan of care that prescribes intervention to attain expected outcomes.
- Evaluates and documents the patients progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Utilizes ongoing assessment data to revise diagnoses/patient problems outcomes and plan of care as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing
- Ability to pass specific competencies for this position.
- Proficient oral and written communication
- 1-year general hospital experience helpful
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS
- Hold and maintain RN Illinois Licensure
- CPR certification
- Advances Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Telemetry experience preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- Trauma Nurse Core Couse (TNCC) preferred.
