Cook Join Our Culinary Team!
Love to cook and make a difference every day Were looking for a dependable energetic Cook to join our food service team! In this role youll prepare fresh great-tasting meals in a clean team-focused kitchen where your work directly supports the health and happiness of our guests.
Wage range: $18.50 - $20.50 DOE
Schedule: Full-time Wednesdays through Sundays (Mon & Tues Off)
Location: Mountain Meadows Ashland OR
What Youll Do
- Prepare meals from set menus and recipesno guesswork needed
- Follow daily prep lists and portion guidelines for consistent quality results
- Cook and present food with care using proper temperatures and safe handling practices
- Keep your station clean and organized throughout your shift
- Communicate and coordinate with your team to keep service smooth
- Help train new team members and promote a positive can-do kitchen vibe
- Report any broken equipment or maintenance needs
- Pitch in with cleaning and other duties as needed
What Youll Bring
- 1 year of experience in high-volume cooking OR 3 years of related experience
- Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Comfortable using kitchen equipment and following prep sheets
- Ability to read and follow recipes and instructions
- Team player with a positive attitude and solid communication skills
- A high school diploma or GED
- State Food Handlers Card Safe knife skills and ServSafe certification (or willingness to get certified)

Physical and Sensory Requirements
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Use of hands for handling equipment operation and food preparation.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
- Regular exposure to heat cold humidity and kitchen equipment.
- Requires visual acuity for food presentation and safety; ability to smell and taste food items.
- May require bending stooping or climbing during kitchen activities.
