The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services from Advisory to Assurance Tax and Business our innovative hubs youll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. Youll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Software and Product Innovation team you lead and oversee complex Java programs driving alignment with business strategy and delivering measurable outcomes. As a Senior Manager you guide cross-functional teams and advise clients on EJB implementations leveraging your influence and technical acumen to solve critical business problems. This role emphasizes the importance of operational excellence and innovative processes providing opportunities for professional growth and impactful client work.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee software development projects with a focus on Java EJB
- Innovate and enhance software engineering processes for improved effectiveness
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic solutions

What You Must Have
- Bachelors Degree
- 12 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Proven experience in developing backend services and APIs
- Demonstrating knowledge of Java 8 and Spring Framework
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs JMS and microservices
- Understanding of financial applications especially payment/wires
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools
- Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies
- Demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of containerized deployments
- Message Parsing knowledge
