Job Description
Youll have:
- The following are preferred:
- Demonstrates strong industry-recognised technical skills and knowledge. 10 years of relevant experience
- Existing client relationships new to Worley
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when engaging with internal and external stakeholders
- Operate in technical and commercial decision-making discussions with confidence to work at all levels of a client organisation
- Be familiar with a consulting business commercial approach (high margin lower billability)
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:
- Relevant technical or business degree (i.e. engineering). Advanced degrees viewed favourably.
- Fluent English (verbal & written)
- Based in London is preferred because of existing team location
- Willing to travel on semi-frequent short-duration international business trips
- We are open to considering part-time and flexible working arrangements. Job shares for example is something we would be happy to explore.

Associate Management Consultant
Role Context:
The regional (EMEA) Worley Consulting team is expanding again this year building on a successful strategy update and targeted hiring in the past year. Individuals with non-traditional backgrounds are welcome but must have a consulting mindset to support business growth into new energy-related areas and to help existing clients navigate the energy transition. This role concentrates on supporting upstream midstream and LNG clients focussing on integrated gas decarbonisation and high-end consulting support.
Senior role within our EMEA consulting practice reporting through the Upstream Midstream & LNG (UMLNG) business line to a Managing Consultant. The candidate(s) will be an Expert Individual Contributor applying an understanding of business strategies culture and work to execute strategic consulting services supporting traditional hydrocarbons operators and investors.
Here is a list of some current projects to give a feel of typical work and direction:
- Global CO2 value chain master planning
- National CO2 and H2 infrastructure strategy
- Lenders Technical Advisor for CCS
- Vendor due diligence for natural gas assets
- LNG strategy development for major energy company
- 1700 km onshore pipeline conceptual screening
- Offshore field development planning
Youll be:
- Work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Define the approach scope and commercials of assignments. Lead proposal development.
- Apply in-depth and diversified knowledge to contribute and lead projects covering:
o FEL (Front End Loading) 0 1 and 2 greenfield and brownfield upstream and midstream (including terminals shipping and pipelines) projects.
o Technical and commercial due diligence on behalf of financial institutions and owners.
o Asset and portfolio optimisation including development of decarbonisation strategies.
- Line management of junior resource(s).
- Perform cost estimation and economic analysis to support business case development.
- Support key client accounts and development of new client relationships.
- Develop future talent through on-the-job development and mentoring.
- Present technical papers and publish articles.
