About the role
The Officer Resilience is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of targeted initiatives aimed at enhancing the resilience of individuals households communities and key stakeholders in the Geelong local government area. The role involves assisting in the implementation of evidence-based resources training and community activities to build capacity to anticipate respond to and recover from disasters and crises.
Day to day you will:
To be successful in this role you will have sound discipline knowledge gained through experience in an emergency management role and a proven track record leading and delivering community resilience/development programs.

This role is covered by the Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 4 - Salary from $85145.84 FTE superannuation salary packaging.
