ALCO Designs a leading manufacturer of innovative merchandising displays for the supermarket industry and beyond is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Design team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for blending artistic vision with technical precision in a fast-paced environment. The Graphic Designer will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence through compelling visual designs for webpages catalogs marketing materials and product displays while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Product Design & Development: Partner with Industrial Design and Sales teams to ideate and refine merchandising display concepts ensuring designs are both visually striking and manufacturable.
- Branding & Visual Identity: Develop and maintain consistent brand aesthetics across all platforms including logos taglines and promotional materials that align with ALCO Designs brand guidelines.
- Marketing Collateral: Create high-quality digital and print assets including catalogs brochures banners business cards social media graphics and trade show materials to support marketing and e-commerce initiatives.
- Web Design: Design and optimize visually appealing user-friendly webpages to enhance ALCO Designs online presence and customer engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Marketing Design Sales and Production teams to ensure cohesive project execution and alignment with company goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) or equivalent software to create designs including templates and die lines tailored to merchandising display production.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Visual Arts or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience preferably in merchandising retail or manufacturing industries.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) or similar tools. Familiarity with preproduction processes material limitations and die line creation for manufacturing.
- Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred to support diverse team and client communications.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly respond to feedback and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Creativity & Attention to Detail: Strong creative vision with a meticulous approach to design ensuring high-quality error-free deliverables.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and deadlines with a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Compensation: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
ALCO Designs is a manufacturer of merchandising displays catering mainly but not exclusively to the supermarket Industry. We are based in Gardena CA and our display solutions are manufactured on-site and overseas from a variety of materials including plastic wood and steel.
