POSITION DESCRIPTION
Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic energetic and effective Teacher Consultant for our preschool program. Looking for a highly collaborative and effective communicator using both verbal and written skills with a passion for Early Childhood Development.

Salary: Per HVEA Contract
Reports To: Director of Early Childhood Education
Status: School Year 2025-26

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
Special Education Endorsement required
Certification in non-violent crisis intervention training required or will be provided
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To effectively provide functional instruction for students on an Individualized Family Service Plan or Individualized Education Plan
To effectively communicate in writing and verbally with staff and families
To monitor students growth to then report data
To be engaged while attending building and department meetings
To be a learner of your content and other school related topics to benefit students from birth toage 5
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree
LANGUAGE MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS: Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
