Join our team as a Procurement Analyst Support Specialist contributing to the success of small and minority-owned business programs within the federal acquisition landscape. In this role youll leverage your skills in data analysis procurement systems and outreach coordination to promote economic inclusion and improve agency performance toward small business goals. This position provides a unique opportunity to support a mission-driven organization through operational support strategic data insights and industry engagement.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Procurement Analyst: $106156.17
Pay commensurate with experience.

Procurement Analyst Responsibilities Include:
Data Analysis and Procurement Support
- Utilize FPDS-NG DSBS e-SRS and related systems to generate standard and ad hoc procurement reports (e.g. small business goaling NAICS codes geographical spend GWAC usage).
- Perform data-driven evaluations of agency and bureau-level small business goal attainment.
- Support contract inventory development analyze Department buying behaviors and assist with small business set-aside strategies.
- Assist Contracting Officers and the OSDBU with market research activities using systems such as DSBS FPDS GSA MAX and .
Administrative and Operational Support
- Support OSDBUs digital transformation by utilizing Microsoft tools including SharePoint Teams PowerBI OneDrive Word PowerPoint Excel and Visio.
- Maintain OSDBU SharePoint and TEAMS channels including content design file organization taxonomy archiving and collaboration.
- Draft and implement internal stakeholder communication plans and improve existing communication channels.
- Provide written and verbal support to OSDBU leadership and internal/external partners.
- Track project progress coordinate feedback and support special initiatives from planning through execution.
- Provide general administrative support to OSDBU operations.
- Serve as the alternate/back-up to the OSDBU Executive Assistant as needed.
Small Business Industry Outreach
- Advocate for small business engagement in federal procurement per Small Business Act requirements and departmental policies.
- Counsel vendors on doing business with the Department of State and facilitate matchmaking meetings with Contracting Officers and Program Managers.
- Respond to small business program inquiries from stakeholders and the public.
- Support outreach communications through the development of articles presentations training materials and best practice content.
- Maintain the OSDBU public website using WordPress and support the addition of new content and updates.
- Create and deliver professional visually compelling presentations and digital media.
- Organize and execute outreach events from concept to closeout including logistics agenda creation milestone tracking staff coordination vendor communication guest support venue setup equipment planning and post-event evaluation.
Contingent Duties
- In the absence of the OSDBU Executive Assistant assume related administrative responsibilities.

Procurement Analyst Experience Education Skills Abilities requested:
- Bachelors degree in Business Public Administration Data Analytics Communications or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in federal procurement acquisition data analysis or small business support.
- Proficiency in FPDS-NG DSBS e-SRS and related procurement databases.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration platforms (e.g. SharePoint Teams PowerBI).
- Experience managing and updating web content via WordPress or other CMS tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities and event coordination.
- U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain a security clearance if necessary.
