Job Description
Responsibilities
Oversee product requisitions that are entered from all Brenntag Mid-South Branches.
Placing Purchase Orders with Suppliers include:
- Converting product requisitions into purchase orders
- Confirming purchase orders with suppliers
- Maintain purchase order statuses in the BUS system
- Following up on all inquiries regarding the purchase orders
- Communicating all changes to the purchase orders with the CSRs
- Build mixed and split truck loads with our suppliers and determine logistically the best distribution branch
- Efficiently move materials logistically between suppliers and internal branches
- Analyze requisitioned material with current inventory levels
- Manage product allocations and communicate it with the internal branches
- Review 3rd party requisition details before they are placed by the 3rd party group
- Coach expeditors to better understand their product lines and make sound decisions.
Your Profile
Education
Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
