Your Role

Loss Prevention Associate with a focus on Asset Protection Analytics & Investigative Insights is responsible for leveraging investigative research systems and advanced data analysis to detect and prevent shortage and fraud-related activity across Saks Global. This role plays a critical part in identifying data patterns that signal dishonest behavior or operational vulnerabilities and in developing strategies to mitigate risk.

This individual will support the design implementation and evaluation of all Asset Protection solutions systems and initiatives. They will monitor the deployment and performance of systems policies procedures and training programs to ensure optimal adoption effectiveness and alignment with business goals.

By conducting regular data assessments the Analyst will identify areas of risk and opportunity predict potential exposures and inform decision-making for key Asset Protection initiatives. This role will also collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Operations Human Resources Inventory Control and Legal as well as external vendors to drive improvements in productivity security and loss prevention. Duties include (but are not limited to:

Utilize investigative tools and systems to identify patterns of fraudulent activity and operational vulnerabilities.

Lead the analysis and interpretation of data to support shortage control and fraud detection efforts.

Develop and manage Asset Protection solutions policies and training programs; evaluate rollout success and business impact.

Conduct ongoing risk assessments and predictive analytics to highlight exposure areas and suggest corrective actions.

Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to implement effective loss prevention strategies and technologies.

Recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency minimize liability and align with company objectives.

  • Strong understanding of Asset Protection operations and investigative methodologies

Key Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in criminal justice Business Analytics Data Science Information Systems or a related field required.

  • 5 years of experience in Asset Protection investigative analytics loss prevention or related roles.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business intelligence tools such as Tableau Microsoft Power BI or similar.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights to various stakeholders including senior leadership.

Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
