The Life Science and Diagnostic Markets Group (LDG) develops and markets a diverse set of innovative products and solutions for research translational research and diagnostic market segments globally.
You will work closely with LDG solutions units/divisions and sales teams to ensure access is a planned and integral part of the pipeline development and commercialization stages of our products starting at the earliest points of a moleculeslife cycleand going up to and beyond its launch. A key element of this work is ensuring we create the necessary evidence packagesrequired to demonstrate the utility and economic value our products deliver to payers clinicians patients their families and society.
The candidate will focus on HEOR efforts for Agilents portfolio of products. In addition have responsibility for identification demonstration and evaluation of the impact of the life cycle indications and value propositions including publications. This position will oversee global health economic strategy including pricing throughout the product will deliver clear recommendations for payer strategies evidence generation including data collection and economic value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.
The Director of Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Agilent will provide scientific and technical expertise for the development of health economic evaluations to accompany our rigorous reviews of scientific evidence. You collaborate cross-functionally with Agilent Medical and Clinical Affairs Commercial Marketing and Sales teams and pharmaceutical partners to ensure access is a planned and integral component across the lifecycle of products from pipeline to beyond launch. A key element of this work is understanding the evidence requirements to achieve access goals and creating robust evidence packages that demonstrate the utility and economic value of our products to access decision-makers (e.g. payers health technology assessment HTA organizations laboratory directors).
This role will be responsible for developing and executing global HEOR strategies from data collection to evidence generation and dissemination (e.g. conference abstracts and presentations publications evidence dossiers). You will also support Market Access by developing value propositions and payer engagement strategies. On a project basis you may lead the design and execution of economic models (e.g. budget impact models cost-effectiveness analyses) internally or externally in collaboration with pharmaceutical partners and key opinion leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct global health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) to support market access strategies for diagnostic products that inform treatment selection within oncology.
Develop robust global HEOR evidence generation strategies that demonstrate the value of Agilent products and fulfill payer evidence requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HEOR insights across product lifecycles from early development to commercialization.
Lead the design execution and dissemination of HEOR studies (e.g. systematic reviews budget impact models cost-effectiveness analyses burden of illness etc.).
Prepare and present HEOR findings to internal stakeholders external partners and payer organizations.
Support the development of value dossiers health technology assessments (HTAs) guidelines and reimbursement submissions for key markets including but not limited to US EU China and Japan.
Assess internal (e.g. clinical trial data) and publicly available data sources for opportunities to conduct impactful HEOR studies.
Monitor global HEOR trends and best practices and act as internal subject matter expert around study methodologies.
Identify opportunities to partner with external partners and customers to conduct HEOR (e.g. real-world evidence) studies in support of asset and therapeutic area strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Health Economics Public Health Epidemiology or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in HEOR within the pharmaceutical biotechnology or medical device industry.
Experience working within the oncology therapeutic area.
Proven experience in conducting HEOR studies and generating evidence for market access.
Strong technical knowledge of HEOR study methodologies (e.g. economic modeling real-world evidence etc.)
Understanding of the US healthcare landscape and drug development process.
Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to convey complex HEOR concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects involving complex processes challenging deadlines and rapidly shifting priorities.
Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications related to HEOR.
Preferred Requirements:
Familiarity with healthcare systems and reimbursement processes in the US EU China and Japan.
Strong knowledge of in vitro diagnostics (IVD) companion diagnostics and/or precision medicine.
Knowledge of payer requirements for HEOR studies in multiple regions.

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
