About the job
In this role as Senior Process Engineer you will be part of our Technology Team Inorganic Specialties supporting our exiting four product lines (Levasil Kromasil EKA Pellets High Purity Metalorganics) to grow and maintain a competitive advantage on a global market. You will lead and support growth initiatives through the initial phases of the investment process support improvements and troubleshooting in our eleven global plants with focus on those in Europe by ensuring correct design and calculations standards and cost estimate being used.
In relation to projects we expect you to be open for travel mainly within Europe and occasionally globally over a year approximately 5-15% of your time.
In your role as Senior Process Engineer you will
Provide skilled engineering knowledge so Nouryon with our Levasil and Kromasil technologies can maintain a competitive advantage on the market. This is done by:
- Act Technology Lead/Support mainly Levasil and Kromasil growth projects through initiation and pre-study phase by creating a and reviewing needed project documents.
- Support/lead creation of BEP/pre-project and execution phase in growth and improvement projects.
- Review project deliverables costs and production processes.
- Suggest and drive improvement projects for our plants.
- Manage simulation software to do process simulation of new installations and new technical solutions.
You will cooperating wide within Nouryon with other functions and business areas such as marketing and sales R&D and procurement. You will be part of a global team of dedicated engineers mainly located in Gothenburg. Work environment is known for being familiar and relaxed but highly solution oriented.
We believe you bring
- Degree in Master of science (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering)
- Deep knowledge in process engineering design
- Great experience from being part of investment projects
- Extensive experience from the process industry such as (chemistry pharma food water and recycling)
- Knowledge of FEL/FEED project methodology
- Driving licence Class B
- Fluent in English (oral and writing)
Great if you have/can
- Experience and knowledge in silica and inorganic chemistry.
- Fluent in German and Swedish (oral and writing).
- Proven experience from working in global projects/organizations
- L6-Green Belt
We believe you are a structured person with a high level of problem solving skills and able to quickly embrace new questions sort and search for missing information drive several projects and question in parallel. You have great communication skills and forms networks and partnerships beyond your own team department or region to foster teamwork and innovation.
