Job Description:
This role is responsible for developing and overseeing security programs and procedures that protect classified sensitive and proprietary materials documents and equipment. It involves interpreting and applying federal security regulations while maintaining awareness of interdisciplinary compliance areas including finance cybersecurity information technology and trade compliance. The role requires preparing regulatory manuals establishing protocols for handling and storing restricted materials and coordinating access for personnel and visitors. Additional responsibilities include leading security training conducting audits investigating security violations and producing actionable reports to prevent future incidents. The position also involves gathering analyzing and disseminating intelligence information to relevant stakeholders or investigative authorities.

As an intermediate-level professional this individual works under moderate supervision and exercises autonomy in setting goals within their job area. Strong communication skills are essential as the role requires regular interaction with both internal teams and external partners to explain and improve operational processes. The position supports the mission of the Advanced Systems & Technologies (AS&T) division part of L3Harris Agile Development Group. AS&T drives innovation in next-generation technologies including advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS/UAVs) cutting-edge radar and weapon systems and RF sensor solutions. Combining the agility of a small team with the scale of a leading defense contractor AS&T pushes the boundaries of whats possible in aerospace and national security.


Essential Functions:
Maintain security program policies to ensure ongoing compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 IC DoDM 5205.07 vol 1-4 and other requirements of all classified programs under purview.
Prepare Security Operating Procedures (SOPs) outlining customer guidelines and establishing procedures for the handling storage and transportation of assigned assets.
Conduct security related employee briefings to include indoctrination debriefing courier closed area program access OPSEC Insider Threat derivative classification foreign travel and routine annual security trainings.
Prepare and maintain System Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs) in accordance with ICD 705.
Implement DD-254 Security Guidance and ensure program compliance with contractual requirements.
Analyze and investigate security incidents and violations; prepare internal and external customer reports.
Conduct annual self-inspections.
Physical security duties include but are not limited to maintaining and changing combinations access control systems alarm accesses secure area modifications and buildouts
Maintain multiple PERSEC databases including JADE DISS and SIMS.
Process PARS in accordance with SAPNP guidance.


Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET security clearance.


Preferred Additional Skills:

Knowledge of Joint Access Database Environment (JADE).
Knowledge of Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
Knowledge and Implementation of the DoDM 5205.07.
Knowledge and Implementation of the ICD 705.
Knowledge of the EQUIP Process and Justification Requests.
Knowledge of Security Information Management System (SIMS).
Knowledge of Access Control Systems.
Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel and Access.
Communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
Experience interacting with persons of varying importance multi-cultural customers and personnel.
Experience with Personnel Security preferred.
Active SECRET security clearance preferred.
