Kerrville State Hospital Savannah through Whitestone Healthcare
Facility Address: 721 Thompson Dr Kerrville TX 78028
Facility Type: Inpatient Mental Health
Hiring Immediately for 6-12 month commitments with the option to renew
RN - Pay and Benefits:
$44 per hour local rate (pay packages for those 50 miles)
Paid every Friday
Health benefits available for Full-Time Employees (must work a minimum of 30 hours per week)
RN - Shift and Interview Details:
Phone Interview
2:30pm-11pm
10:30pm-7am
Must work every other weekend
Must work 1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday
Orientation: Classroom orientation Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm for approximately 3-4 weeks
RN - Job Description:
Provide care treatment and general welfare of patients.
May supervise the work of others and act as Charge Nurse/Shift Supervisor when needed.
Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for initiative and independent nursing judgment. Performs nursing duties within the assigned areas and assigned shift.
Performs basic and complex nursing tasks to fulfill the health needs of the individuals including the collection of lab work and other health screenings.
Keeps informed of and follows all agency facility and unit policies and procedures.
RN - Job Requirements:
Must pass Drug Screen and Fingerprint
Must have at least 1 year of RN experience
RN - Credential Requirements:
Active Nursing License
Current American Heart Association BLS
Current TB (if you have a positive TB Chest X-ray is required)
