Job Title: Principal Technical Specialist
Education: Bachelors degree or Post Graduation
Experience: 10 Years
Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Mumbai
Key Skills: Oracle databases 11g to 21c Oracle applications and Performance Tuning.
Oracle Tuning Specialist - Tier-3 DBA
Required Skills:
- 7 years of experience in providing DBA support for large number of databases in Oracle.
- Extensive experience in optimizing and tuning Oracle databases to ensure maximum performance reliability and scalability.
- Must have deep understanding of Oracle database architecture advanced performance tuning skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database performance issues.
- An excellent understanding of Oracle internals and Administration in 12c 19c GRID and HA. Experience in managing Real Application Clusters and Dataguard is preferable.
- Advanced Performance tuning skill to identify the contention at Database and operating system level and able to provide the solution quickly to resolve production issues.
- Experience in analyzing the Database Health check reports like AWR ADDM OEM Diagnostics Packages and should have experience to interpret the performance metrics quickly.
- Demonstrable experience of managing high-performance high-capacity databases in a critical production environment/
- Troubleshoot complex database problems and work with development and infrastructure teams to resolve them.
- Analyze database logs and system metrics to identify root causes of performance issues.
- Perform capacity planning and database growth analysis to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Recommend hardware and software upgrades to meet future database demands.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve database performance and response time.
- Conduct performance assessments and fine-tune database parameters and poor performing SQLs.
- Evaluate and implement new database technologies and features to improve performance and scalability.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of database configurations tuning procedures and best practices.
- Provide guidance and training to junior database administrators and development teams.
- Experience in RMAN and OEM is required.
- L3 level support. Handle escalations from L2 incident Management team.
- Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks while under pressure.
- Strong Oracle RAC experience including general administration troubleshooting and L3 performance tuning skills.
- Generate innovative approaches and solutions to recurring tasks or problems.
- Experienced in Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure) - CRS management and configuration.
- Exhibit strong organizational analytical multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
