Description

The Opportunity
Were seeking an experienced and detail-oriented People and Culture Officer to support the effective delivery of HR administration services across the employee lifecycle. This pivotal role ensures our People and Culture team operates efficiently maintaining compliance with relevant employment legislation and internal policy while enabling a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality HR administrative support to the People & Culture team and Executive team
  • Manage HR business processes including recruitment employee onboarding/exit support records management and HRIS data maintenance (we use ELMO)
  • Administer employee lifecycle activities which include recruitment admin contract generation learning and development support and engagement initiatives
  • Assist with recruitment admin by creating and posting job ads tracking applications scheduling interviews pre-employment checks
  • Respond to basic HR and industrial relations enquiries triaging and escalating complex matters as required
  • Support policy development and ensure compliance with Fair Work Act and privacy legislation
  • Minimise organisational risk by ensuring HR practices comply with relevant legislation and our values
  • Contribute to organisational initiatives and projects that support staff wellbeing and engagement
  • Coordinate HR documentation meeting logistics reporting and invoicing

Salary: Base $78000pa super (12% from 1 July) salary packaging (total remuneration package up to $93296pa) 17.5% leave loading.



Skills And Experiences

About You
You are a proactive and organised HR professional with a strong attention to detail and a service-focused mindset. You will bring:

  • Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field; or demonstrated and relevant experience in a HR Admin support role
  • A working knowledge of Australian employment law and industrial relations frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information and support multiple priorities
  • Ability to manage priorities while staying organised and solutions-focused
  • Experience with HRIS and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative can-do approach
