Completion of graduate core program in business management or public administration public health health administration social or behavioral science or public finance; 12 mos. exp. in the delivery of a health services program or health services project management (e.g. health care data analysis health services contract management health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development HMO & hospital rate development health services eligibility health services data base analysis).

Job Overview:
As the Health Innovation Research Manager in the Office of Health Innovation & Quality Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the agency manager to evaluate Medicaids programs and initiatives to transform health systems through partnership with Ohios Medicaid Institutional and non-institutional providers
- Conducting program development program analysis and comparative studies to determine the impact of the transformation initiative
- Evaluating goal achievement of providers participating in programs (e.g. state directed payments) designed to improve health outcomes to Ohios most vulnerable populations
- Providing strategic oversight of policies and procedures governing Medicaid Technical Assistance and Policy Program (MedTAPP) and other similar programs
- Analyzing and interpreting federal and state regulations rules and laws to ensure program compliance
