Job Description

PMO Project Manager (Lending)

Job Type: Full-Time- Hybrid

Exemption Type: Exempt

Wage Amount: $114380 minimum

Primary Functions

The PMO Project Manager (PM) is responsible for technical project planning management and oversight of key initiatives primarily within the Loan department. The PM ensures alignment with A strategic priorities and delivers projects on time within scope and budget and with high-quality outcomes. The PM may also lead projects for other departments as needed.

The PM oversees the full project lifecycledesign development testing evaluation production and dispositionwhile analyzing alternative solutions and presenting recommendations with risk and ROI analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

  • Define project scope deliverables roles and responsibilities with stakeholders.
  • Lead all phases: analysis design configuration testing training and deployment.
  • Manage project resources schedules risks scope and communications.
  • Track team velocity financials KPIs and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Implement change management processes and monitor project performance.
  • Escalate risks and issues appropriately and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards and methodologies.

2. Employee Management (As Assigned)

  • Supervise daily operations of the PMO team: scheduling training hiring coaching and evaluations.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and service excellence.
  • Assign and monitor team tasks to ensure alignment with objectives and timelines.
  • Conduct coaching sessions and performance reviews.
  • Develop staffing plans and manage team timecards and leave.
  • Maintain training and career development plans for team members.
  • Resolve conflicts and recommend process improvements.

3. Technology Management

  • Oversee technical aspects of project delivery including system integration and QA.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions based on cost-benefit analysis.
  • Understand web applications APIs databases and system design.
  • Ensure technical tasks align with business goals and are completed on time and within budget.

4. Organizational Support

  • Maintain knowledge of A products and services.
  • Ensure member confidentiality.
  • Pursue professional development opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Required: High school diploma or GED; 5 years of technical project/product management experience; 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in a related field; experience with lending systems.
  • Certification: PMP or equivalent (required within 2 years of hire).

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of credit union systems (Symitar Meridian Link preferred).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Jira ).
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results.
  • Deep understanding of software and system development lifecycles.
  • High accountability and time management skills.
