CNA - Inpatient - Palm Harbor - Nights

Suncoast Hospice a member of Empath Health is currently seeking a CNA (Hospice Aide) to join our team.

36 hrs/wk; 8p-8a; every other weekend

In addition to our recent enhancements to the base compensation package for our FT Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) we are pleased to offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 29 days of paid time off (PTO) per year. Under the direction of the Registered Nurse the CNA provides personal and basic medical care services within the plan of care for patients within the CNA scope of practice and to enhance patient and family comfort.

The CNA/HHA

• is responsible for providing care and/or assisting with that care when appropriate.
• should be able to respond sensitively to patient/family needs by observing and reporting any changes to include physical spiritual social and emotional to the patients nurse or supervisory nurse.

Position Requirements:

• Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Licensure:
  • Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
  • Valid Florida State Drivers License
