The Project Manager is responsible for delivery of projects utilizing cross-functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet company strategic objectives. The Project Manager is responsible for the management of scope timelines budget quality and resourcing of their assigned projects. Client relationship responsibilities include risk and issue identification and escalation management.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Accountable for overall client and project management of assigned medium to high complexity studies during all phases of a study including timelines scope quality andcosts. Maintain visibility through project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project and SAP for the overall status of the project and timelines
  • Accountable to deliver study based on defined scope within budget and on time while managing client expectations including standard Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
  • Accountable for identifying and executing changes in scope and managing associated change orders
  • Accountable for performing project / campaign reviews at selected key project milestones and presenting outcome to SMT / SLT as required
  • Compliance with all relevant GMP documentation where appropriate (site SOPs systems methods and protocols)
  • Accountable for the management of project related invoices for goods/services rendered and tracking of costs vs budget via SAP
  • Responsible for proactive identification of risks and issues throughout delivery including tracking these appropriately and escalating as required

Flexible and able to work extended hours when required.

Specific Job Skills:

Required:

  • Must have excellent time management communication (oral and written) and organizational skills
  • Must have experience of working within the Pharma Industry
  • Ability and experience of direct project activities and ensuring customer satisfaction while understanding and adhering to the study budget
  • Must have solid MS Office Suite experience Word Excel MS Project PowerPoint
  • Must have SAP experience
  • Able to multi-task and work with multiple team members
  • Must be able to communicate and engage effectively with all levels of the organization and have excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Must be comfortable speaking in front of diversified and/or large audiences
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Must show initiative and be able to work independently as needed

Computer skills:

Must be competent in the use of MS Office particularly Excel and Word Outlook and navigation of the internet via web browsers. Must demonstrate an aptitude to acquire new software skills as required.

Literacy and Numeracy: Must be competent in generating documents both for internal use and for customers/clients. Must be numerate.

Business Presentation Skills:

Must be able to give clear and concise oral presentations
