Warehouse Assistant
Purpose: The warehouse assistant is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and warehouse policy. They also ensure that shipping schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery.
*This position will be split between the Memphis TN warehouse and Jonesboro AR warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Stock sort and clean the warehouse
- Operate forklift
- Manage large quantities of material and inventory
- Load and unload materials and tools
- Oversee shipping and receiving lines
- Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to learn quickly with a desire to continue learning
- Strong work ethics
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills required
- Excellent communication skills to be used when working with Kimbel employees and customers
- Having a general knowledge of plumbing parts is helpful
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
- Hold a clean driving record
