Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager who will be part of a team spearheading the development and implementation of fleet inspection technologies and compliance solutions. This role supports Amazons current and future initiatives around fleet safety and operational excellence through innovative inspection products.

At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation significantly complemented by Delivery Service Partners (DSP). A DSP will hire and develop a team of high-performing drivers. The Last Mile team is hiring a Senior Program Manager to lead strategic inspection and compliance initiatives coordinating cross-functional programs that integrate vehicle inspection systems maintenance tracking and compliance monitoring across all functions of this fast-paced and growing organization.

Travel to team offsites and delivery stations for program assessment and implementation (10-15% per quarter)

Key job responsibilities
Lead the implementation and optimization of fleet inspection technologies and compliance solutions across North America
Develop and track comprehensive program metrics including inspection compliance rates maintenance KPIs and system performance
Drive the strategic roadmap for inspection products and oversee global expansion initiatives
Manage vendor relationships with inspection technology partners and compliance solution providers
Conduct regular business reviews with internal teams and external partners to ensure program effectiveness
Establish program goals and align performance metrics with overall business objectives
Identify and resolve technical challenges to enhance inspection system functionality
Foster cross-functional collaboration and lead change management initiatives to ensure successful program adoption
Monitor quality metrics and implement process improvements for inspection programs
Execute program timelines and deliverables while maintaining high standards of compliance
Analyze inspection data and metrics to drive continuous improvement in fleet maintenance and safety
Collect stakeholder feedback to inform future inspection product developments and enhancements


A day in the life
As a Senior Program Manager focused on Fleet Inspection you will execute critical compliance and inspection technology initiatives while managing key vendor relationships. This role will drive the implementation of innovative inspection solutions for Amazons last mile delivery fleet ensuring vehicle reliability and safety standards.

We seek a strategic and detail-oriented professional who can manage a complex inspection technology program working with multiple stakeholders including Last Mile Delivery Global Fleet & Products Amazon Delivery Service Partner Program and Tech Teams Fleet Management Systems teams Operations Finance and Legal.

You should have strong program management and communication skills to work effectively across countries and markets. You will be responsible for maintaining strategic relationships executing inspection program roadmaps and managing vendor partnerships to advance Amazons fleet inspection and compliance needs. You will collaborate with and present updates to senior leaders both externally and internally.

Amazons Global Fleet and Products team is responsible for managing and growing the network of professional contract organizations that power Amazons in-house last mile delivery service. Our partners work out of delivery stations across North America and are assigned delivery routes and packages 7 days a week that are delivered by their vans and drivers. While we continue to ensure vehicles meet rigorous inspection and maintenance standards for todays customer deliveries we are also in the midst of a historic transition of one of the worlds largest fleets into a highly electrified fleet. The teams mission is to provide reliable well-maintained vehicles and inspection services that enable Amazon to delight customers within our last mile operations.

About the team
The Last Mile Fleet Technology Products (FTP) team is responsible for a suite of products transforming last mile delivery safety and operational efficiency. Our mission is to leverage advanced technologies and analytics tools to build the worlds safest and most efficient fleet

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership

- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
