Our client is looking to hire an I.T. Systems Analyst for their plant in Hiram! Our client is a world leader in manufacturing environmentally clean marine equipment.
Qualified candidates for this position would need a Bachelors degree in IT Computer science IS or a related field 5 years of experience as a systems analyst or business analyst within a manufacturing or industrial background solid understanding of ERP systems an understanding of SQLs and familiarity with SDLCs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Information Systems or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in a System Analyst or Business Analyst role preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems manufacturing workflows and process automation.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases for querying and reporting.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and system integration concepts.
Preferred:
- Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI Crystal Reports or Tableau.
- Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g. ISO 9001 ITAR SOX) relevant to manufacturing environments.
- Project coordination or junior project management experience is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing manufacturing and business processes to identify system gaps inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather define and document moderately complex business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Assist in feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed IT solutions.
- Design and configure system enhancements and process improvements with minimal supervision.
- Partner with developers and technical teams to ensure solutions are properly built tested and deployed.
- Support project management efforts by contributing to timelines risk identification and resource planning.
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing and coordinate defect resolution with development teams.
- Support integration between core manufacturing systems and peripheral applications.
- Troubleshoot system issues perform root cause analysis and work with support teams to implement solutions.
- Maintain system documentation including process flows technical specs and configuration guides.
- Provide second-level user support and help train users on new features or tools.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity across systems by collaborating with data owners and administrators.
- Design and develop moderately complex reports queries and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Monitor data workflows and recommend improvements to enhance data accessibility and reporting accuracy.
