Job Description
Direct Support Professional
Are you a caring and compassionate individual looking to make a difference in the lives of others
If so then we encourage you to apply for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position with the Fort Monmouth Day Program!
Our DSPs provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a variety of settings in the community and our facility.
We are looking for individuals who are patient understanding and have a passion for helping others. Our primary focus is to engage all program participants and help them develop skills for everyday living.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities
- Provide transportation to and from activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
- Advocate for the rights of individuals with disabilities.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma with qualifying experience
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check/Drug Screen

Job Types: Full-time Part-time positions available
Pay: $18 to $20 per hour commensurate with experience
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
