Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Substance Abuse Therapist to join our team at our halfway house location. In this role you will provide clinical support to individuals in early recovery facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions developing treatment plans and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help each client build a path to long-term recovery.

In this role you will provide clinical support to individuals in early recovery facilitating both individual and group counseling sessions developing treatment plans and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to help each client build a path to long-term recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and formulate diagnostic impressions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Facilitate evidence-based group and individual therapy sessions
- Educate and support families as part of the treatment process
- Maintain timely accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Coordinate care with physicians case managers peer specialists and other treatment team members
- Participate in team meetings trainings and quality improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Counseling Psychology Social Work or a related field
- Certification or licensure in Pennsylvania preferred (LPC LCSW CAADC etc.)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health
- Working knowledge of addiction theory trauma-informed care and recovery models
- Strong interpersonal communication and documentation skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus

ABOUT OUR TREATMENT FACILITY
The Davis Archway Treatment Center is a newly constructed substance abuse treatment facility. Our facility is located in Emlenton Butler County Pennsylvania. Our remote location provides clients a private serene therapeutic environment to help them start on road of recovery.
To accommodate our clients we provide comfortable and spacious residential style living areas and bedrooms. We offer several amenities to make their stay more comfortable.
