Job Description:
The client is seeking a Technical Lead for a cloud-based software development project with the initial phase currently in progress.
Skills:
Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Experience acting as a Technical Lead on a successful large-scale IT project 10 Years Extensive expertise in Azure Cloud Services like Azure AppServices Azure Functions AzureDevOps Azure Storage Azure Kubernetes Service etc. 10 Years Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g. C# .NET Python JavaScript) 10 Years Solid understanding of RESTful APIs microservice architecture and serverless computing 10 Years Experience with CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AMR templates Bicep or Terraform 10 Years Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights 10 Years Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in Azure (e.g. Azure SQL Cosmos DB). 10 Years Understanding of secure coding practices role-based access control (RBAC) and compliance frameworks like GDPR or ISO 10 Years Proven experience as a technical lead or similar role leading development teams through full project lifecycle 10 Years Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum practices ceremonies and iterative development 10 Years Ability to work closely with Product Owners Scrum Masters and stakeholders 10 Years Experience guiding junior developers promoting best practices and maintaining code quality 10 Years Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders 10 Years Ability to clearly communicate across distributed teams 10 Years Skill with problem-solving and architectural decision-making 10 Years Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Engineering or related field strongly desired. Job Description:
The client is seeking a Technical Lead for a cloud-based software development project with the initial phase currently in progress.
- The position will act as the Technical Lead for an established development team that is currently adding additional staffing in support of the project.
- The Technical Lead will provide oversight direction and guidance/consultation to the project development team throughout the entire project lifecycle through final acceptance of all deliverables.
- Will work with the project manager to ensure all aspects of project management disciplines and ensure compliance with agency specific and Commonwealth project management and project governance policies procedures standards and guidelines.
- Review and validate project deliverables to ensure information accuracy thoroughness completeness and compliance.
- Ensures project has a valid project plan that maintains scope tasks schedules estimates and status and that information is accurately disseminated to IT management. Directs corrective actions in any area in which performance falls below objectives.
- Monitor the progress of the project and provide quick and accurate responses to Agency leadership as to status issues and risks of the project.
- Serve as liaison between Agency leadership and client in cooperation with the project manager.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and materials for regularly scheduled project reviews with Agency leadership client and the project oversight committee.
