The Isolation Filling and Controls Technician role entails the preventive maintenance of Isolation filling equipment/systems used for the filling and conveyance of liquid-filled sterile containers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supports the assembly troubleshooting and qualification of automated systems with a focus on electrical software and control systems.
Read electrical schematics.
Assemble and install machines and subassemblies.
Troubleshoot and Wire control panels based on electrical schematics.
Installation of pneumatic plumbing in automated equipment.
Troubleshoot install and repair sensors actuators relays and basic I/O connections.
Performs basic electrical troubleshooting and replaces faulty components.
Perform adjustments to PLC logic for improved machine operation with engineering support.
Performing equipment preventive maintenance.
Identifying and correcting unsafe conditions.
Maintain safety expectations.
Work in a safe manner using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Correct/report unsafe behaviors or equipment.
Maintain housekeeping of own work area.
Assist department supervision to ensure departmental goals are met.
Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
Education Requirements and Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational trade school certification or associates degree highly preferred.
0-2 years of previous relevant experience in a manufacturing working environment technical diploma or applicable certifications required.
Use of small hand tools multi-meter and laptop interface.
Knowledge of 120V- 208V AC/ 3-24VDC troubleshooting down to electronic components is a plus but not necessary.
Knowledge of 3phase electrical systems.
Knowledge of pneumatics solid state relays and transformers.
Knowledgeable in cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) preferred.
Able to read and understand engineering electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Able to follow instructions and document activities as outlined in SOPs (Standard Operation Procedures).
Working knowledge of PLC based control systems.
Willingness to learn/train on the Isolator liquid filling machines.
Ability to effectively communicate.
Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
Basic Microsoft Office and Windows skills.
Flexibility to work multiple shifts and off hours during shutdown plus some overtime. This position is part of a multi-shift operation and may require assignment to a regular or off shift and/or weekends to support the production schedule.
Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot manufacturing machinery.
Understanding of safety programs (e.g. Lock out / Tag out line breaking).
Physical Environment and Requirements:
Physically able to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment including but not limited to gowning goggles face shields respirators and protective gloves. PPE and Respirators are essential for the health and safety of employees.
Must be able to occasionally lift upwards of 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods of time while fulfilling job duties.
Expected Hourly Rate
$26.11 - $30.00
