Carlsberg is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal Operations Manager to shape and enhance the operations of our Global Legal and Compliance function. With a presence in over 30 countries our goal is to be recognized as one of the best legal and compliance organizationsoperating cohesively as one team earning trust across the business and ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all our endeavors.
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to manage the transformation of our legal operations streamlining and optimizing key processes to bolster overall efficiency. The position is based at our Shared Services Centre in Poznan and reports directly to the Group General Counsel.
What youll be doing
- Overseeing and manage the legal operations function within Carlsbergs Legal and Compliance department ensuring alignment with the organizations strategic objectives.
- Facilitating a 3-year transformation initiative aimed at refining legal and compliance processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the global function.
- Developing and implementing efficient processes for the legal department to manage operations and reduce costs.
- Overseeing the legal & compliance functions management of internal and external cost including tracking and analysing expenditures to ensure cost-efficiency and value for money.
- Handling vendor management and contract negotiations ensuring the legal team has access to necessary resources and services.
- Supporting in implementing and managing legal technology solutions to enable the team to optimize use of resources.
What were looking for:
- A university degree (business administration project managementor a related field)
- 5 years of relevant experience; legal operations experience in a law firm or an international company.
- Full professional proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
- Advanced organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple legal projects concurrently.
- A versatile mindset with high self-motivation capable of advancing in an unpredictable environment.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills to identify potential risks and implement effective controls.
- A commercially awareand digitally skilled professional with profound business acumen.
- Communication and stakeholder management abilities with the capacity to work cross-functionally and elucidate complex legal concepts to non-legal team members.
- Motivationto workwith tight deadlines and building a collaborative work environment
