The chosen candidate will be supporting the Pricing Managers in preparing various types of commercial proposals for the Aftermarket business.
- Provide support to develop detailed request for estimates which are used to kick off proposals
- Support the development and understanding of proposals
- Work with other functions from across the company to developthe labor material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts
- Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools
- Ensure proposals comply with basic internal requirements
- Monitor and report on the progress of the update of the price lists and catalogues
- Monitor and report on the progress of the request for quotations
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelors or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- English language proficiency B or C levels
- Experience with Excel (i.e. basic formulas lookup functions pivot tables filtering/sorting etc.)
Qualifications We Prefer
- Possess good investigative abilities and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meeting deadlines in a schedule driven environment
- Effective planning and scheduling skills that lead to the completion of proposal efforts in accordance to customer and company requirements
- The ability to work well in teams
- Oral and written communication skills
- The ability to follow and apply internal and external regulations to the development of company proposals
