We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Clinical Technologist to join our esteemed client in Derby. This role involves providing specialist nuclear medicine services including the operation of GE gamma cameras and associated equipment venepuncture cannulation and administration of diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality imaging and diagnostic procedures ensuring compliance with NHS protocols and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
As a Specialist Clinical Technologist you will be responsible for performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures including administration imaging and image processing. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including radiographers nuclear medicine physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Additionally you will maintain high standards of imaging quality adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Strong patient handling and communication skills are essential for this role.
