JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
- Degree in a health-related discipline
- Master studies in Microbiology
- Previous participation in national and/or international research consortiums
- Proven experience with issues related to microbiology preferably in assessing the impact of external factors (i.e. tobacco diesel micronanoplastics) in the host-pathogen interactions
- Experience in tissue and bacterial culture flow cytometry and confocal microscopy
- Experience with data repository management (i.e. REDCap Castor)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good knowledge of English
- Availability to travel
- Flexible attitude towards work and ability to work independently
WHAT WE OFFER
- 6 months of a full-time temporal contract (39h/week)
- Start date: 1 July
- The annual remuneration inherent in the position that is the subject of this call will be set based on the experience provided and the aptitudes of the candidate distributed in 12 payments.

- 23 vacation days and 5 days for personal matters 2 days for Easter 2 days for Christmas.

About us
The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
The Institute is associated with one of the major university hospitals in the Barcelona area the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital and is part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus. IGTP is a CERCA centre and is also accredited as a centre of excellence by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) and is in charge of coordinating the management and scientific strategy of the campus working in close collaboration with the other centres.
