Ororas Cans business is growing! With rising demand across Australia New Zealand and Oceania were investing $140M into our Rocklea facility ensuring we can continue to meet growing customer needs. This investment includes a new high-speed can body line boosting our capacity by 13% and featuring cutting-edge decoration and quality systems. This is where YOU come in - help us bring the future of packaging to life.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Can Making Plant in Rocklea Queensland .Reporting into the Mechanical Supervisor and working 6am 2:30pm Monday to Friday the Day Fitter responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- On-going maintenance of machinery equipment and services to assist in meeting or exceeding site objectives (Production Quality Spoilage).
- Actively pursuing mechanical maintenance improvements to achieve production targets and improve plant uptime.
- Safety: Demonstrates an exemplary safety ethic Leading by example and setting standards for the health safety and wellbeing.
- Quality: Drive a high-quality culture and standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical Trade Certificate with Advanced Certificate preferred.
- 3 years mechanical maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Proactive attitudeand willingness to learn.
- Team playerwith excellent communication problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Be able to meet requirements of Ororas pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing
