Job Description
As the Associate Manager Marketplace Billing & Accounting you will lead a high-impact team that supports our third-party sellers and ensures financial accuracy across our e-commerce marketplace. In this role youll drive performance and accountability enhance operational efficiency and oversee accurate vendor payments and financial processes. The right candidate will bring a mix of leadership vendor management and financial expertise to help scale and strengthen our growing marketplace. If youre passionate about combining people leadership with hands-on financial operations this is the role for you.

This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What youll do
  • Lead mentor and develop a team of marketplace specialists to drive performance and operational excellence
  • Responsible for accurate and timely payment to third-party sellers
  • Serve as primary point of contact for third-party sellers regarding payment activity and questions
  • Resolve vendor payment disputes and enforce standards when necessary

Basic qualifications
  • 4 years of experience in Accounting Finance Procurement Tax or Treasury
  • 1 year of experience with GL reconciliation and journal entries
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage vendor relationships

Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or 7 years of relevant experience
  • 1 year of project management or indirect leadership experience
  • 1 year of experience with Oracle OneStream or similar platforms
  • Experience with e-commerce marketplaces and partner operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
