Job Description:
Position Overview: The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems used in HVAC equipment. This role requires precision technical skills and a thorough understanding of mechanical assembly processes and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly Work: Assemble various mechanical components including frames panels and other HVAC equipment parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Use of Tools: Utilize hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes materials used and any issues encountered.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers technicians and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is highly desirable.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings blueprints and assembly instructions. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require precise hand-eye coordination.
- Communication: Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
