ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As an Information Systems Security Officer you will be part of a team providing cybersecurity support services to various mission partners in a multifaceted cloud-based environment. This position leverages your cybersecurity knowledge and skills including Risk Management Framework (RMF) continuous monitoring and hands-on cybersecurity tool use.

System auditing and vulnerability management using various tools (ie ACAS Splunk SCC)
Development of mitigation strategies for system security threats and risks
Familiarity of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process leading to a systems Authority to Operate (ATO)
Conducting system security assessments as part of the authorization process
Development and update of security assessment results and Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM) reports
What sets you apart:
Demonstrated enhanced understanding of DoD cyber security objectives such as Risk Management Framework (RMF) STIGs JSIG and other government security specifications
Demonstrated ability in communicating issues impacts and corrective actions as they affect cybersecurity design and implementation
Self-starter with the ability to operate independently or on a team with minimal supervision
Previous experience in the development of artifacts for the systems Body of Evidence in support of the Assessment and Authorization package
Prior responsibility over products or processes
Experience with Linux operating systems

This position requires the successful candidate to be on-site 3-4 days per week.
Target salary range: USD $121363.00/Yr. - USD $134638.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related Science or Mathematics field. Also requires 5 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.
