Job Description

As the Senior Manager Membership and Subscriptions you will own the performance and strategy for engagement and retention within key internal programs like loyalty membership and warranty while also managing critical vendor partnerships for renewals. Youll be instrumental in shaping the growth trajectory of these complex businesses through sharp analysis strategic development and effective cross-functional leadership. A successful candidate will bring a curious mind a knack for navigating complexity and a passion for developing both business and people. This role offers the exciting opportunity to drive a significant P&L impact and lead a dynamic team in a high-visibility area.

This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What youll do

  • Manage the financial performance forecasting and business performance for assigned categories and programs such as Paid membership Microsoft 365 Trend Micro Webroot and Warranty.
  • Develop and execute strategies and business cases to drive growth and profitability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute initiatives and achieve business objectives.
  • Analyze complex data to identify trends opportunities and risks.
  • Manage mentor and develop a team of direct reports.

Basic qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in category management business management or a related analytical role.
  • 3 years of experience developing and implementing business strategies.
  • 3 years of experience with P&L management and financial forecasting.
  • 2 years of experience managing vendor relationships and programs.
  • Experience analyzing complex data sets to inform business decisions.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience managing loyalty membership or warranty programs with emphasis on retention.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-faceted businesses.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelors degree in business finance marketing or a related field.
