Job Description
Location: Washington D.C.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $120000
Overview:
Seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Health Law Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of civil litigation experience with a strong preference for those with medical malpractice defense backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings and motions for various stages of litigation.
- Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties and expert witnesses.
- Appear in court to argue motions and represent clients.
- Prepare for and attend multi-party complex civil trials.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility for waiver.
- Admission to the Virginia Bar.
- 35 years of civil litigation experience; medical malpractice defense experience is strongly preferred.
