Recruiter (Part-Time)

In this role youll play a critical part in identifying engaging and hiring cleared professionals who align with our mission and values.

This position will require onsite work in Fairfax VA.

Key Responsibilities

• Source screen and recruit cleared technical professionals across a variety of programs and skill sets.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through proactive outreach and relationship management.
• Tailor resumes and candidate profiles to meet specific customer and program requirements.
• Manage and maintain accurate records in Plateaus Applicant Tracking System (Paylocity).
• Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Represent Plateaus brand and values to candidates promoting a culture of integrity excellence and innovation.
• Support onboarding and employee engagement efforts to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives in recruiting processes and tools.

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 8 years of progressive recruiting experience with a focus on passive candidate generation and engagement.
• 3 years of experience working cross-functionally across the recruiting process partnering with multiple stakeholders.
• 3 years of experience using recruiting tools such as ClearanceJobs Indeed Dice LinkedIn Recruiter CRM ATS systems and other sourcing platforms.
• Experience in recruiting for the federal government or government contracting space
• Highly motivated organized and able to work independently.
• Strong ability to build long-lasting relationships with candidates and internal teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and discretion with confidential information.
• Comfortable interacting with highly technical candidates and senior leadership.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other IT tools for completing routine and moderately complex tasks.
• Flexible and adaptable to support high-priority tasks and shifting business needs.
• Professional customer-focused and mature approach to recruiting.
