Analyst Finance / Hybrid Miami USA
Location: Hybrid Miami (Onsite Tuesday to Thursday) or Dallas TX (typically 1 day/week onsite)
Contract Type: Temp-to-Hire
Skill Set Required: AWS Lambda Backend Services Architecture
Overview
Join a brand-new engineering team at one of the largest beverage distributors in the U.S. where youll help shape backend service architectures using modern cloud-native tools. As a Senior Software Engineer you will build and maintain scalable backend services in deployed on AWS Lambda. Youll collaborate closely with business users to gather requirements reduce rework and deliver robust efficient solutions that support core operations.
This is a 6-month contract opportunity (Temp-to-Hire path preferred) hybrid onsite in Miramar FL (3 days per week: Tuesday to Thursday) or Dallas TX (as needed typically 1 day/week). This role is ideal for a strong backend developer who is curious proactive and thrives in dynamic environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design build and deploy backend services using on AWS Lambda.
- Collaborate with business users to gather functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in architectural decisions and service design discussions for scalable and maintainable backend systems.
- Ensure integration with relevant platforms (e.g. S/4HANA Salesforce nice to have).
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations.
- Support a newly formed development team of 3 engineers working on greenfield initiatives.
- Participate in agile ceremonies sprint planning and code reviews.
- Create technical documentation and handoff guides as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (Required not open to H1B).
- 5 years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong coding skills in and serverless deployment with AWS Lambda.
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in designing APIs and service-oriented architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Based in or willing to commute to Miramar FL (3x/week) or Dallas TX (1x/week).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Salesforce or SAP S/4HANA integrations.
- Prior experience in greenfield development environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks in .
