Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Deputy /Associate Manager Manufacturing Engineering to lead and optimize our manufacturing engineering team within our production division. This role involves strategic planning implementation of advanced manufacturing processes and continuous improvement to ensure high efficiency safety and product quality. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on engineering expertise strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of agricultural equipment manufacturing.
The candidate must have very good knowledge on capacity planning manpower calculation cycle time reduction facility management line balancing project management OEE Industry 4.0 Digitalization etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of manufacturing and process engineers supporting tractor production lines.
- Develop optimize and standardize manufacturing processes to ensure cost-effective and high-quality production.
- Collaborate with R&D and Design teams during product development to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma and Kaizen principles.
- Oversee equipment selection installation commissioning and validation of production tools and machinery.
- Develop and maintain work instructions process documentation and safety protocols.
- Monitor and improve manufacturing KPIs (OEE productivity downtime etc.).
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for quality or production issues.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Support automation and digitization initiatives (e.g. Industry 4.0 adoption).
Manage budgets resources and timelines for engineering projects.
