Job Description
Our client a global leader in healthcare is seeking a dedicated SAP Production Specialist to join their team in LArbresle France. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong expertise in SAP production modules (PP-PI) master data management and production process support. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between local manufacturing operations and IT systems ensuring seamless SAP integration data accuracy and operational efficiency.
This is a contractual position through the end of 2025. With the likelihood of an extension into 2026. This is an on-site role working in the clients LArbresle France facility.
The Role.
- Master Data Ownership: Manage the creation maintenance and accuracy of SAP master data (articles BOMs routings Kanbans) for the ARB plant.
- Production Support & Training: Provide end-user support troubleshooting and training for SAP production execution (PP-PI).
- Monthly Reporting & Analysis: Deliver insights through production order analysis scrap tracking and KPI reporting to drive continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization: Identify and resolve SAP-related bottlenecks in production workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT production teams and supply chain to align SAP processes with operational needs.
- Excel & Data Management: Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables macros) for reporting and data validation.
Requirements
- 3 years of hands-on SAP Production (PP/PP-PI) experience including master data (BOMs routings) and shop floor execution.
- Fluency in French (mandatory) professional English proficiency.
- Strong analytical skills experience in production reporting scrap analysis and order tracking.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas VLOOKUP pivot tables).
- Ability to train end-users and document SAP processes.
- Manufacturing/plant environment experience (preferred)
Proven experience in Java backend development and full-stack software engineering. Strong working knowledge of SAP BTP, including integration and extension capabilities. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Proficiency in writing unit tests and working with API documentation/testing tools. Familiarity with agile development methodologies, particularly SCRUM. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills in a global, remote working environment. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different geographies, adhering to EU working hours.
