Requirements
Mobile App experience
Hands on experience designing for Native and Hybrid Apps
Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work for both apps and web platforms
UX/UI Design
Expertise in leading the end-to-end design process for mobile products from initial concept and user research to final implementation
Proficient in design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma Illustrator Photoshop Sketch or similar)
In-depth understanding of mobile app UI design principles and best practices
Strong knowledge of UX and Human-Centered Design methodologies with a focus on optimising customer experience
Solid understanding of accessibility standards and best practice
Experience collaborating with Engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of design
Familiarity with mobile analytics and A/B testing methodologies
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Time management and organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Experience with Lean/Agile delivery methodologies and frameworks
Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design solutions
Excellence in visual design with strong typography composition and interaction design skills
Experience working with design systems and component libraries
Proven experience in leading design sprints and facilitating design workshops
Communication
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Skilled in wireframing prototyping and interaction design with a focus on clear visual communication
Ability to quickly translate ideas into sketches wireframes mockups and prototypes
Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with Product Managers to define product strategy and roadmap based on user needs and business objectives
Excellent ability to clarify requirements and build strong partnerships with stakeholders
Proven track record of effective collaboration showing consideration respect and encouragement for the ideas and contributions of team members
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance user needs with technical constraints

A minimum of 5 years experience working as a UI / UX Designer with at least 3 years focused on mobile applications.
Tertiary qualifications in a related technology area such as Information Systems or Computer Science are highly desirable
- Retail sector experience is preferred
