Essential duties:
- Answer all inbound service department phone calls and schedule needed service appointments
- Make outbound calls to schedule appointments for customers with needed recall appointments on their vehicles
- Download and follow up on all dealership recall and missed opportunities lists
- Advise customers on special-order parts status appointment reminders and recall campaigns
- Contact all appointment no-shows to reschedule their missed appointments
- Work directly with each and every service department team member
- Make CSI follow-up calls
- A successful BDC representative will be trained in the needed product knowledge professionalism and empathy that our service customers look for today. Communication is extremely important in a service department as it contributes to team building with all the dealerships departments
- To perform this job successfully an. individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Automotive repair service knowledge
- Ability to multi-task betweeen phone and computer at the same time
- Customer service experience
- Bilingual skills are a plus
