Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Small Group Reading Teacher to support students in developing foundational reading skills. This role involves working with small groups of students in a pull-out setting to provide targeted instruction monitor student progress and support literacy growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students succeed and enjoys working in a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide small group reading instruction focused on phonics fluency comprehension and vocabulary.
Use data to plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to students individual needs.
Conduct regular progress monitoring and maintain records of student performance.
Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to align instruction and share insights.
Foster a positive inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Participate in professional development and staff meetings as needed.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Patience adaptability and a passion for literacy and student growth.
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or coursework in education preferred.
