At Gcore we are in the exciting early stages of bringing a cost-effective and innovative public cloud products to the market. We are seeking a Lead Presales Engineer to play a pivotal role in managing multiple cloud products from the technical and business point of view.
Your Responsibilities:
- Build standardize and improve presales and account management processes: deal tracking account/project handling CRM and billing hygiene onboarding workflows.
- Lead and grow the Cloud Pre-Sales team: onboard coach and continuously develop team skills and best practices.
- Participate in customer engagements directly: run discovery sessions PoC prepare tailored solutions and technical proposals deliver demos and workshops assist with RFP/RFI.
- Work closely with Account Executives to support sales cycles grow existing customer portfolios and proactively identify upsell opportunities.
- Own and report on presales performance metrics: time to response conversion rate upsell volume pipeline support and forecast accuracy.
- Act as a technical and operational bridge between customers sales product and engineering teams.
Qualifications :
We Expect You to Have:
- 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales solution engineering or technical consulting (cloud infrastructure or related domains).
- Proven experience leading a team or coordinating cross-functional pre-sales or solution delivery projects.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with public or private clouds: AIaaS GPU IaaS Bare Metal Networking PaaS VMware OpenStack etc.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot) billing systems and experience building repeatable internal processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Customer-first mindset with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
- Confident public speaker and workshop facilitator with strong storytelling and presentation skills.
