The Systems Engineer Lead serves as a subject matter expert in planning and designing an organizations systems infrastructure including leading the implementation and design of hardware and software. The position designs information systems that are appropriate for users needs and consistent with the overall design of the organizations information systems architecture. This position is a specialist on the technical process of the lifecycle validation of systems recommending solutions for the organizations most complex systems issues.
Essential Job Functions
Leads the implementation and modification of infrastructure and network components of the information system.
Manages the performance of operations systems so that processing equipment and other IT resources are used to their full capacity.
Verifies systems to ensure that they meet internal and external IT business requirements.
Troubleshoots complex problems and recommends improvements of hardware and software as needed.
Collaborates with functional and operational managers to understand information needs and develop plans cost estimates and schedules.
Validates systems and identifies technical constrains and capabilities.
Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.
Education Requirements Required: Bachelors Degree
Experience Requirements Required: 7 years
Licensure/Certification/Listing Required: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
