- Understand automobiles by studying characteristics capabilities & features comparing & contrasting competitive models & inspect automobiles
- Develop buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers suggesting trade-ins meeting prospects at community activities answering internet leads in a timely & appropriate manner responding to inquiries & recommending sales campaigns & promotions
- Qualify buyers by understanding buyers requirements and interests matching requirements & interests to various models & building rapport
- Demonstrate automobilesby explaining characteristics capabilities & features
- Connect customerswith a Sales Associate for test drives & to secure final sales
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities & reading professional publications
- Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new & different requests & exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- This position coordinates with & reports directly to the Sales Manager or General Manager
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- Time management prioritization skills and ability to multitask required
- Ambitious goal oriented mentality and eager to improve
- Ability to hit sales quotas and closing percentages
- Valid drivers license
