Position Description: The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) in partnership with Childrens Wisconsin (CW) seeks a board certified / board eligible Fellowship trained Pediatric Neurocritical Care Faculty member to expand the current Neuro-Intensive Care program. This position is in the department of neurology / division of child neurology. Rank upon appointment will be commensurate with experience. Childrens Wisconsinprogram brings together experts fromcritical care neurosurgery physical medicine and rehabilitationandtrauma surgeryto deliver comprehensive care to critically ill pediatric patients with neurological conditions. Clinical Responsibilities: Academic Responsibilities: Institutional Setting: Administration/Service/Research: Participation in clinical or basic science research is flexible based upon experience and desire. You will be expected to participate to the extent that you may be called upon in other administrative and/or service functions of the Department Hospital or College Committees. Childrens Wisconsin and Childrens Specialty Group &Childrens Wisconsin Childrens Wisconsin is an independent health care system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. The hospital with locations in Milwaukee and Northeast Wisconsin is recognized as one of the leading pediatric health care centers in the United States. Childrens Wisconsin provides primary care urgent care emergency care specialty care mental and behavioral health services community health services foster and adoption services child advocacy services and health insurance plans. Each year the Childrens Wisconsin team has more than 6.5 million touchpoints with kids and families through medical care advocacy research and education. In Northeast Wisconsin Childrens Wisconsin is expanding its services to provide increased access to outstanding pediatric subspecialty care. This includes a pediatric hospital with a Pediatric Unit Level III NICU and Infusion Center which is located at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah WI. A multispecialty pediatric ambulatory clinic with on-site laboratory and radiology services opened in Appleton Wis. in 2023. Childrens and its joint venture with the Medical College of Wisconsin the Childrens Specialty Group (CSG) - are the largest providers of pediatric healthcare in the state serving the children and families of Wisconsin with the highest level of care through their American College of Surgeons Level I Childrens Surgery Verification Center Level I Pediatric Trauma Center Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence 72-bed Level IV NICU Level IV Epilepsy Center and a 72-bed PICU. In 2021-2022 CW and CSG had six specialties ranked byUS News & World Report: cancer; cardiology and heart surgery; gastroenterology and GI surgery; neurology and neurosurgery; orthopedics; and pulmonology. With over 70 specialties and 675 providers CSG providers had 220000 outpatient visits at 13 regional care sites 67000 emergency department/trauma center visits and over 9000 admissions. Milwaukee Application review will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
You will be joining an active practice in the areas of neurocritical care and vascular neurology at Childrens Wisconsin.

Position Requirements: Training and experience in neurocritical care highly desired. Board certified/eligible in Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology. Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin
