You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAt Coromant were now looking for a Production Engineer to strengthen our R&D Production Technology & Geometrical Measuring team. This role supports the product and technology development process with the goal of maintaining our market-leading position across all application areas.

Youll collaborate closely with both internal and external partners including R&D managers project leaders product development engineers and designers as well as workshop operators.
Your mission
In this role you develop production methods and programming in Siemens NX CAD/CAM for CNC lathes 5-axis machining centers and multi-task machines. Responsibilities also involve participating in investment planning developing tools and auxiliary equipment and supporting the development and industrialization of new production technology. Active involvement in product development projects collaboration and knowledge transfer to production units and improvement initiatives is also part of your mission. Through close cooperation with developers designers and production teams you ensure manufacturability and efficiency in new product designs.
This role is primarily based at our Sandviken site where youll be close to the action and the team - but with the flexibility to work remotely part of the time through our hybrid setup.
Your profile
Were looking for someone with a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent or extensive experience in machining and NC programming. Youre skilled in cutting processes manufacturing strategies CNC machines and production technology. You know your way around CAD solid modeling drawings and CAM systems. You understand product development methods materials and how to turn ideas into manufacturable solutions. Good English skills are essential.

Working both hands-on and digitally is no problem for you and you thrive in a team where knowledge sharing and collaboration are key.
